Anand Shankar, the director of NOTA and Iru Mugan, shared a happy news to his fans today via a tweet. He shared few romantic pics of him with his girl friend on Twitter and captioned it, “My first ever post about my private life. Usually, I am too closed.. too private- and shy. Although at this moment, I really felt like sharing my happiness with all. Need all your blessings. Always. #Dubai2018 #HappyDeepavali.” With these pics, he has announced his real life romance.
Anand Shankar has already said that he is a private person but ‘really felt like sharing’ his happiness with everyone. He is very confident as his girl friend has accepted his proposal and said yes to him.
Anand Shankar started his career as an assistant director to Siddharth Anand in Anjaana Anjaani in 2010. He also assisted producer-director AR Murugadoss in few movies such as Thuppakki and 7aum Arivu.
Anand Shankar has directed three movies by now, namely Irumugan and Arima Nambi, both of them became blockbusters at the box-office. But his NOTA starring Vijay Devarakonda and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada was bombed at the box office.
Anand Shankar is the grandson of National Award Winning playwright Komal Swaminathan. He got a mechanical engineering degree in Chennai from SVCE), after which he studied at the New York Film Academy. The film maker Anand Shankar is the cousin of Srikanth Ravichandran, ex-husband of television host Dhivyadharshini. He is yet to announce his upcoming project.
