NTR Kathanayakudu lengthy run time is not an Issue

NTR Kathanayakudu lengthy run time is not an IssueNTR biopic is one of the most prestigious project of Telugu film Industry.  Yesterday Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NTR Kathanayakudu has completed the censor formalities and received U certificate from the regional censor board. And after competing the censor formalities, NTR Kathanayakudu is gearing up for grand release on 9th January 2019 the eve of Sankranthi.

 As per the censor certificate,  Run time of NTR Kathanayakudu is locked to 170 minutes, a bit lengthy indeed. The run time of the film is 170 minutes excluding ‘no smoking’ ads in the beginning and after the interval. But the lengthy run time of NTR Kathanayakudu is not an issue. It is known news that Sukumar’s directorial venture Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan &  Samantha Akkineni has 180 minutes runtime and Koratala Shiva’s Bharat Ane Nanu starring Mahesh Babu & Kiara Adavani had 173 minutes whereas, Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel starrer Naa Peru Surya had 168 minutes runtime.  Sukumar’s Rangasthalam and Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu were blockbuster at the box office and created several records at the box office. Rangasthalam was non Baahubali hit.

The  run time of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan starrer NTR Kathanayakudu shouldn’t be a worrying factor. It is always the actual content that has been a problem. Will Krish take care of that issue? We will know in few days.

Recently released songs, teasers, first look posters of NTR Kathanayakudu have already generated good buzz and the expectations are very high. Balakrishna is reprising the role of his father and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. NTR Kathanayakudu is directed by Krish and is jointly produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri.

Cinematography and production design are touted to be major highlights of NTR biopic.  Balakrishna starrer will NTR Kathanayakudu make the audience travel to the times of 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
