With Baahubali script writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, Manikarnika : The Queen of Jhansi actress Kangana Ranaut is set to direct her own biopic.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Kangana Ranaut, who is enjoying the success of her recent periodic drama Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is set to start work on her own lifestory that she intends to put on the silver screen. Baahubali scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad, will pen the project whereas Kangana Ranaut herself will direct her own biopic. The pre production work has been already started.
It is expected that the biopic will go on the floor after her upcoming releases Panga and Mental Hai Kya?
Recently during the media interaction, when Kangana Ranaut was asked about her biopic, the actress replied, “Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial.”
Kangana Ranaut added, “The scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the script of Manikarnika, gave me the idea that I should do a project based on the true story of my life.” She added while at first, she was nervous and wary about it but she agreed.
Kangana Ranuat added, “My biopic will be the story of an achiever, a girl from the mountains who came into Hindi Film Industry with any connections in the industry or even a godfather, and went on to carve a niche for herself against all odds, with some memorable films like Gangster, Fashion, Queen and Manikarnika.”
Now we have to wait and see whether Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan feature in Kangana Ranaut’s life-story or not.
Kangana Ranaut will helm her own biopic, which will also be written by Manikarnika, Baahubali and Bajrani Bhaijaan writer K V Vijayendra Prasad.
Earlier Kangana Ranuat and Prabhas have worked together for Puri Jagannadh’s directorial venture Ek Niranjan, which was released in 2009.
