Ram Gopal Varma again tweeted, “The very fact that NTR did not bless his own son’s #Kathanayakudu is proof that he will only and only bless his wife’s #LakshmisNTR and the proof of that will be the clash between the releases of #Mahanayakudu and #LakshmisNTR .. May NTR Bless.”
Recently in an interview, Ram Gopal Varma revealed the reason why he chose to make NTR biopic Lakshmi’s NTR based on the book written by his second wife Lakshmi Parvathi.
RGV said, “I always felt that the most interesting part of NTR’s life is that particular segment. It’s his rise as a star and him establishing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is as straight as A for Apple, but it’s her (Lakshmi Parvathi) entry which gave his life the tremendous twists and turns, ultimately leading to his downfall and death. Hence the title Lakshmi’s NTR.”
Ram Gopal Varma has also given hint that the pre-climax of Lakshmi’s NTR will show some controversial facts about NTR’s life and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s infamous Viceroy episode.
