Cyberabad police served notices to 500 persons, including Tollywood actor Allu Sirish and Pooja Hegde in relation to the investigation in QNet multi-level marketing scam cases. Not only to Pooja Hegde and Allu Sirish , the Commissioner of Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Cyberabad, also sent notices to Bollywood Badshah Shahukh Khan Boman Irani, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Yuvraj Singh for allegedly endorsing and promoting QNet company. The Cyberabad Police have also served notices to QNet’s promoters, directors, shareholders and its CEO.
Allu Sirish and Pooja Hegde too promoted the pyramid kind marketing and business. The police have asked Allu Sirish and Pooja Hegde to appear before the investigation office within a week’s time to explain their endorsement/involvement with QNet. If the recipients do not appear before the investigation officer within the said time, police said that appropriate legal action would be taken against them.
The several victims of QNet alleged that a large number of innocent people have been duped because celebrities like Allu Sirish, Pooja Hegde, Shahrukh Khan and other were promoting QNet.
The celebrities have been issued notices with regard to QNet Same which is a multi-level marketing company, deals in India via its franchise Vihaan Direct Selling. In 2014, snooker champion Michael Ferreira had also come under the scanner due to his involvement with QNet scam.
QNet is a multi-level marketing company which run into many controversies since it started business in India. The Supreme Court had also issued a notice to Cyberabad Police after they plead against QNet for not following orders on 24th February.
On the workside, Allu Sirish will be next seen in upcoming movie ABCD remake whereas Pooja Hegde is busy in her upcoming movie Maharshi, in which Mahesh Babu is playing the lead role. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 25th April.
