Rahul Ramakrishna who has shared the screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, has signed an Hollywood series. This news is confirmed by Rahul Ramakrishna himself, as he took to his twitter and wrote, ”This news seems to have gotten out faster than I expected. Here is a small sneak peak into a dream project I’ve been chasing for a while now..my small humble entry into Hollywood. Hoping the effort reaches fruition soon..” Rahul Ramakrishna will be part of a crime thriller series titled Silk Road, helmed by Pradeep Katasani, who had earlier worked on the Shabana Azmi starrer The Black Prince and the US TV show Ray Donovan.
American TV series Silk Road is based on a novel by E Mapache published last year under the same title. It is all about the story of an international graduate student from India struggling to make ends meet in the US, who takes to the dark web to sell high-grade LSD that he accidentally gets hold of.
Apart from Rahul Ramakrishna, the cast of the six-episode series includes Rakesh Galebhe, who has worked in several Telugu movies, Rajiv Khilnani and Mathew Fuentes.
Rahul Ramakrishna made his debut with the short film, Sainma, directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. He became popular for his role in the Telugu blockbuster, Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey.
On the other side, Rahul Ramakrishna will next be seen in dark comedy ‘Mithai’, in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with Priyadrashi Pullikonda.
