Plus Points:
· Performance
· Raghava Lawrence
· Comedy
· Oviya, Vedhika, and Nikki Tamboli’s glamour
Minus Points:
· Screenplay
Performance: Raghava Lawrence plays dual role as the nice guy Raghava, who is scared of ghosts, and Kaali, a tough guy who is a philanthropist and runs an orphanage. As usual once again Raghava Lawrence has proved that he has ability to carry the responsibility of the movie on his shoulder. He is pretty impressive and gives a really energetic performance. Oviya, Vedhika, and Nikki Tamboli have provided enough glamour show in their limited screen presence. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.
Technical: A haunted house, two revenge-seeking spirits, a dumb villain and dumber characters are in Kanchana 3. Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 3 is an upgraded version of the rest of the parts in terms of budget, the grandeur and production value. The songs are good and Raghava Lawrence shines with his racy steps in each and every number. Vetri’s camera presents all the peppy number with his pompous visuals . Editing is adequate.
Analysis: Kanchana 3 is no exception from the previous films in the franchise and offers a decent mix of horror, action, drama and sentiments utilizing an average screenplay written by Raghava Lawrence himself. The first half has horror and comedy elements, but the second half gets rather serious and lacks a racy screenplay.
