We have already reported that a few days ago, Bigg Boss 2 Telugu winner Kaushal Manda joined BJP and now another South actress has joined Bharita Janatha Party and she is none other than Namitha. Billa and Simha fame Namitha has joined BJP in the presence of Part working president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday. Tamil film and TV actor Radha Ravi has also joined BJP.
67-year old actor Radha Ravi was suspended from DMK after his controversial statement about lady Superstar Nayantara in March this year. in the month of June, Radha Ravi met chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and joined AIADMK.
JP Nadda advised the party functionaries to ‘think globally and act locally’ to establish BJP in Tamil Nadu and told them that he would hold district wise review meetings in coming days.
On Saturday, Namitha, who’s accompanied by her husband Veerendra Chowdary, has joined Bharita Janatha Party. BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao said, “BJP is the future of South Indian Politics. Famous actress Namitha and actor Radha Ravi joined BJP in presence of BJP National Working President Sri JP Nadda in Chennai.”
Namitha, was crowned Miss Surat 1998.She competed in the Femina Miss India 2001 and was a 3rd Runner up in the pageant and also won the title of’ Sony Viewers Choice Miss India 2001′ . Namitha made her debut in Telugu Film Industry with Srikanth Addala’ directorial venture Sontham in 2002 starring Aryan Rajesh and Sunil. She has also shared the screen space with Venkatesh in ‘Gemini’ and Prabhas in Billa. She is popular for Sontham and Simha. Earlier this year, Namitha was seen in a Tamil horror comedy ‘Pottu’, directed by Vadivudaiyan, in which Bharath played the lead role. Currently she is waiting for the release of her Tamil film Miya, directed by AL Ravi & Mathew S.
