Filmfare is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards in cinema world. Many artists and technicians feel very proud achieving this black lady. Even Anasuya is so happy with her first filmfare. She has grabbed this black lady in the category for “best supporting actress” for her impressive performance in the role Rangammattha for the movie Rangasthalam. Anasuya has deservingly gave top notch performance in this movie. At the time of release, critics and audiences alike have praised her performance in the movie.
After receiving the filmfare, the actress has shared her opinion on twitter. She didn’t thanked Sukumar or hero Ram Charan or the producers in the first place. She has tweeted that “Errrr.. did the meaning of ‘Unsung’ change???” Well, the point here is that it was Rashi who was first considered for the role of Rangammattha, but as the senior actress said no, Anasuya was approached.
Though the Jabardasth anchor has second thoughts about the playing the role much more than her real age, she finally agreed trusting Sukumar.
Her role because of her performance came out with flying colours. But there are some news agencies which reported then that Anasuya is undeserving for this role, a senior actress would have done much more justice. Well, we can now say that this tweet now by Anasuya is a direct face-on punch to those who have written her off.
