The controversial film Maker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV took to his Twitter and requested KTR, Telangana Chief Minister KCR and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to have a heart like Mamta Banerjee, who allowed the home delivery of liquor.
Mamata Banerjee government has decided to allow home delivery of liquor during the lockdown period in her state. According to the latest update, the Kolkata police will hand over delivery passes to retailers through local police stations. One shop can obtain only three delivery passes for home delivery of liquor. The customers can place orders over phone at the liquor shop after which the retailers can deliver the stock to the customer. On the otherside, Bengal chief secretary Rajiva Sinha refuted this claim by saying, “No order issued by the state govt.”
In his tweet, RGv requested KTR, KCR and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to give a cheers, for those who are bored at their home, pulling their hair, crying like babies, joining mental hospitals and the wives beaten by husbands in frustration. Indirectly RGV requested KTR, KCR and Jagan to allow the selling of liquor like Mamata Banerjee government is doing the home delivery of liquor.
