Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15th August. Our country India achieved its Independence from the British colonial rule on 15th August 1947. The struggle for the freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of the freedom fighters, who laid down their lives for their country and fellow citizens.
Every Indian’s head is held high today when they sing the National Anthem to honor the struggles and battles that the freedom fighters underwent to make our country free.
Independence Day is marked with the hoisting of tiranga, parades, cultural events, and citizens singing the national anthem.
On this independence day, let’s pledge to offer equal opportunity to everyone to help them achieve their goals by making a better place for all.
