Bhairava Geetha, directed by 23-year-old debutant Siddhartha Shankar starring Dhananjaya and Irra Morr has finally hit the theaters today on 14th December 2018. According to Ram Gopal Varma, Bhairava Geetha is based on the true story. Let’s see the storyline.

Story: Bhairava (Dhananjaya) is a slave to Subba Reddy (Balarajwadi) who is one of the most arrogant and influential persons of the village. Subba Reddy decides to marry his daughter Geetha (Irra Mor) to Keshava Reddy (Bhaskar Manyam)’s son Katta Reddy (Vijay Ram). Geetha (Irra Mor) is raised in an urban setting and she is in the love with Bhairava. So her racist father doubles his muscle strength and starts to chase the lovers. What happens next, form rest of the story.

 Performance:  Dhananjaya’s performance  is one of the major assets of the film Bhairava Geetha.  He does a perfect job in this film. He exhilarates you in few scenes with his perfect work. The actor tries his best to energize dull scenes  Irra Morr  has a meaty role in this film and she is good. Vijay Ram as Katta Reddy in Bhairava Geetha wins the hearts of the audiences with Rayalaseema accent. Balarajwadi and Bhaskar Manyam and others performed accordingly.

 Technical: Ravi Shankar’s tunes for this film are fresh. The background score which he uses for Bhairava Geetha is superb. Cinematography by Jagadeesh Cheekati is excellent and sets the mood for the film. He captured the best locations, which enhances the story. Production values are good. The way Siddhartha Thatholu narrates the proceedings with riveting drama and mind-blowing performances prove what a master craftsman he is.   The editing is ok.

Analysis:   To sum it all, Bhairava Geetha has its pluses in the form of technical prowess and performances. Fight and Love sequences are executed well. There are number of violence scenes in Bhairava Geetha  in the name of love.
