Veteran director Kodi Ramakrishna is admitted in AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The doctors are treating him in the hospital right now. It is heard that Kodi Ramakrishna suddenly fell sick and his family members immediately rushed him to AIG Hospital where he has been put on ventilator. His condition is said to be critical.
The director Kodi Ramakrishna had earlier suffered a heart attack and paralytic attack, but recovered well. In his 3 decades of film career, he has directed more than 100 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi put together. His debut movie ‘Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya’ was screened for 525 days.
Kodi Ramakrishna is well known for dealing with women oriented subjects, political stories and socio-fantasy movies. Through his graphical extravaganza films like Ammoru, Muddula Menalludu, Anji and Arundathi, he won critical acclaims and audience’s accolades.
Kodi Ramakrishna has directed a wide range of films, in a variety of genres such as drama films; Intlo Ramayya Veedilo Krishnayya, Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Thalambralu, Aahuthi, Bharatamlo Bala Chandrudu, Station Master, Muddula Mavayya, Maa Aavida Collector, Pelli, and Dongaata.
In 2012, Kodi Ramakrishna directed Industry Hits Managamma Gari Manavadu and Muddula Mavayya, he received the state Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for his contribution to Tollywood.
