Natasimha Balakrishna is currently busy in the promotional activities of his recently released movie NTR Mahanayakudu, which has hit the theaters yesterday. In the midst of all this actor turned politician and Hindupuram TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has received a huge shock.
Balakrishna received notice from High Court for violating the election code. Earlier, K Siva Kumar approached High Court seeking its direction to Election Commission to file a case against Balakrishna alleging that he tried to influence voters during the Nandyal elections by distributing the money during the roadshow on 16th Aug, 2017. A pic showing Balayya allegedly handing over Rs 100 notes to the people, went viral on social media and the photograph proved that Hindupur MLA along with TDP disbursed notes to Voters from a vehicle.
K Siva Kumar also submitted pics and video footage to the court in which Balakrishna was seen distributing the money to the locals. The PIL filed by the petitioner has come to the bench of the High Court on Friday. The Court headed by Justices AV Seshasai, DVSS Somayajulu issued notices to Balakrishna. And after going through it has directed the CEC to counter with all the details. The case got adjourned for 4 weeks.
