Kannada movies also gained popularity with KGF (series). Once upon a time, there was an impression that Kannada cinema meant remakes of films in other languages. They had that flexibility too. They don’t need to buy the remake rights for that. But the film KGF changed that aspect. Recently the movie Vikrant Rona was released in Telugu and became a super hit.
Recently another movie called Kantara was released. This movie got super crazy even before its release. As Geetha Arts company is producing this film, the theatrical business in Telugu has been good. Once we see their details:
